Introducing a new Cookie Management Solution 

The requirements of 3rd Party cookies and GDPR have grown in importance and awareness over the last few years and with upcoming changes to Google and its new Consent mode roll out, we at Oyster have been researching the best way to keep our clients fully up to date and compliant with the latest rules & regulations surrounding the use of cookies on their websites.

A large number of our clients will have the Oyster Cookie Consent module currently installed on their websites and you can see an example of this in the screenshot below:

This was a custom piece of work built by the Oyster Development team, however with the changing rules and landscapes as well as increased expectations from clients and users alike, we are transitioning to a new approach.

Is there an alternative? 

The choice for how to manage your cookies & GDPR is completely up to you, you are welcome to continue using the Oyster Cookie Consent module, however please note no further development/support can be offered to this module. 

You are also welcome to research your own Cookie Management solution and we would be happy to work with you to implement that on your website.
